Xtrike Me Mouse Software: Where to Download It (and Do You Need It?)

Xtrike Me Mouse Software: Where to Download It (and Do You Need It?)

If you've bought an Xtrike Me gaming mouse with programmable buttons or customizable RGB lighting, you may need to install driver software to unlock those features. Here's how to find the right download for your model.

Do you actually need the software?

Not always. Most Xtrike Me mice work as plug-and-play devices, so plugging in the USB cable lets your operating system install a basic driver automatically, giving you full pointer functionality right away.

You only need the dedicated software if your mouse has:

  • Programmable buttons you want to remap or assign macros to
  • Custom RGB lighting effects beyond the default preset cycling through the onboard button
  • Adjustable DPI stages you want to fine-tune beyond the default settings

If you're happy with your mouse's out-of-the-box behavior, you can skip the software entirely.

Where to download Xtrike Me mouse software

Xtrike Me's manufacturer (Shenzhen Xtrikeme Electronics) hosts official driver downloads on their global site's download page. Software is organized by model number, so check your mouse's model (printed on the underside or in the box) against the list, for example:

  • GM-323
  • GM-415
  • GM-319
  • GM-316
  • GM-520
  • GM-314

You can find the current list of available downloads at the official Xtrike Me download page. Search the page for your exact model number before downloading, because installing the wrong model's software can cause the button mapping to behave incorrectly.

Installing the software

  1. Download the .exe or .zip file matching your mouse model
  2. If it's a .zip, extract it first
  3. Run the setup file and follow the installer prompts
  4. Restart your computer if prompted
  5. Plug in your mouse and open the software to start customizing buttons, DPI, and lighting

The software is Windows-only (compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10) and there is currently no official macOS version.

Just want to change the lighting?

You do not need software for that. On almost every Xtrike Me mouse, holding the DPI button for three to five seconds cycles through the lighting modes, and the setting saves on the device. Can't find your model?

Not every Xtrike Me mouse has dedicated software, particularly simpler wired and wireless models without programmable buttons. If you can't find your model listed and you bought it from us, reach out and we'll help confirm whether software exists for your specific mouse.
